Director of Operations
John Magyar recently joined HCC as Director of Operations, with a proven track record in leading pursuits, pre-construction, lump sum construction, construction management, design management and EPC delivery. He has successfully executed complex industrial and commercial construction capital projects for more than 40 years, managing client expectations and delivering safe, high-quality projects on time, within budget.
Prior to joining our team, John was Senior Program Director at Parsons Corporation, working on large-scale biologics manufacturing, uranium enrichment, hydropower, nuclear decommissioning, and commercial and industrial development for an impressive roster of clients, which includes Bristol Myers Squibb, AT&T, URENCO and Pacific Gas and Electric. His project portfolio also showcases a $130 million large scale biological manufacturing facility for Biogen, a $135 million biologics pilot plant for Merck, and a $60 million API facility upgrade for Pfizer.
John has a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University; holds New Jersey Professional Engineer License #28228; is LEED A.P. certified; and is a Builder License Qualifier in North Carolina, Virginia, California (class A, B & HAZ) and Arizona (class B1–KB1).
